Trial Tracker helps you keep track of free trials you sign up for online, so you can cancel before being charged if you choose to. It scans the text of webpages you visit for language commonly found on trial signup and checkout pages (such as "free trial" or "cancel anytime"), and asks you to confirm before tracking anything.
Trial Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any external server. All information you choose to track (service names and trial end dates) is stored locally in your browser, using Chrome's built-in storage system, and never leaves your device.
To detect possible trial signups, the extension reads the visible text content of the page you are currently viewing. This scanning happens entirely within your browser. No page content, browsing history, or personal information is ever sent to us or to any third party.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
